some words of truth


  • But those who suffer he delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their affliction. --Job 36:14-16 

  • My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. --Psalm 119:49-51 

  •  Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; --Romans 5:2-4 

  •  Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. --Romans 8:16-18
